Being Resourceful Amplifies Your Creativity

You don’t need more to get more

George RR Martin made a fortune just by typing words in his old computer. Another one author made a fortune by writing a children’s book using only 50 words. People start online businesses without any capital using only their phone or computers. They sell stuff all around the world without having to ship them by themselves, without having stock that’s taking up place, and without even having to communicate with customers thanks to fulfillment centers.

People publish their books through Amazon kindle for free. People start social media agencies and social media pages that can generate revenue for free. You can even invest in blockchain projects all around the world no matter your location.

We live in a new era. We live in the age where people can learn anything for free, build a business for free, start making money from the stupidest idea without much paperwork, challenges and expenses. You can automate businesses and manage multiple ones without even having employees. You can share your opinions in multiple ways to multiple platforms. We live in a world of abundance.

But people still stay stuck in the old programming of their grandparents because of fear, because of unfamiliarity, because it is counter intuitive to break the pattern and make something else. The world is changing fast, and if you don’t change, you’re staying behind missing opportunities. It’s all in your mind. You don’t need more to get more. Actually, less is more.

Being resourceful is more. Doing the best with what you currently have is more. Your skill development and learning abilities will skyrocket when you use less to do more. 20% of your daily tasks is what produces 80% of your results. 20% of your stuff is what produces 80% of your results. 20% of your relationships is what produces 80% of your results. Focus more on that 20%, on that ONE thing, on those few people, because when you focus on the most meaningful and powerful resource that produces the 80%, you’ll take your life to a whole new level.

The future belongs to those who understand that doing more with less is compassionate, prosperous, and enduring, and thus more intelligent, even competitive.

Paul Hawken

You don’t need more stuff to produce more. You need to become more resourceful. In fact, the entirety of your potential comes down on a few basic stuff in your life. This can be understood when you hit rock bottom. When you lose everything. When your ego gets hit and lose your image. After hitting rock bottom and staying there, you’ll realize that none of these things mattered that much.

You only need the few basic stuff, basic tasks, and basic people around you that make you feel good and bring out the best in you. Losing everything is not a loss but a realization that you didn’t need all that stuff, a realization that less can sometimes be more.
